Pierson Advisory Group to Assist M&J Engineering, P.C. Board of Directors


The Pierson Advisory Group, led by its President, George J. Pierson, has been engaged by M&J Engineering, P.C. (M&J) to work with its Board of Directors as the firm continues its growth trajectory.

Headquartered in Long Island, NY and with additional offices in New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., the nearly 100-person firm specializes in transportation engineering with emphasis on construction management, resident engineering and inspection, and intelligent transportation systems, as well as environmental engineering and water resources, and seismic engineering and blast and progressive collapse of military facilities. With a current focus on the northeast US, M&J is a certified SBA 8(a)/DBE/MBE/SBE firm with civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, environmental, and transportation engineers as well as landscape architects. It was founded in 2004 and services both private and public sector clients.

Recent projects for which M&J provided services include resident engineering and inspection for the Alexander Hamilton Bridge and High Bridge Reconstruction for the New York State Department of Transportation ($420 million project) and construction management and resident engineering and inspection services as the prime consultant for MTA Bridges & Tunnels' Queens Midtown Tunnel ($236 million project).
