NYSDOT Design Build Rt 110 over Rt 27 Overview

As a subconsultant, M&J is responsible for the development of the ITS plans for the project. The ITS system is part of NYSDOT INFORM and includes the relocation of the fiber cables to adjust for the bridge replacement and widening. ITS devices include a CCTV, a new VMS sign, and three traffic signals to which fiber optic communications will be brought to. Work predominantly involves aerial fiber optic installation and upgrades. Work has been completed on the initial relocation phase and a preliminary plan and quantity estimate has been completed.
